Sheilsoft PSP Scripts Information

Most of our PSP scripts are free to download for personal use only.
For commercial, club, group or class use, please contact Sheilsoft.

Our most popular 'top scripts' can only be downloaded as part
of the complete Sheilsoft Scripts Collection...

...or can each be purchased separately.
Most scripts have PSP8, PSP9 & PSPX/X2 versions available for download.

Where do I unzip my Scripts Collection?

Unzip downloaded PSPX2 scripts to...
Program Files/Corel/Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2/Languages/EN/Scripts-Restricted folder.

Unzip downloaded PSPX scripts to...
My Documents/My PSP Files/Scripts-Restricted folder.

Unzip downloaded PSP9 scripts to...
My Documents/My PSP Files/Scripts-Restricted folder.

Unzip downloaded PSP8 scripts to...
My Documents/My PSP8 Files/Scripts-Restricted folder.

Exception NB - Scrapback script should be run from 'Trusted' folder.
(This is because the script saves a file to your hard disk)

Can't see the scripts toolbar in PSP?

To use any script on your images, you must first select the script from the Script Toolbar

The script toolbar has a dropdown menu, listing all your PSP scripts.
It also has a series of buttons to Run, Edit & Record scripts.

This toolbar is not shown in PSP when you first install the application.
To add the toolbar, first right-click anywhere over the top menu bar.
Select 'Customize' from the short menu which appears.

On the Customize dialog box, click on the Toolbars tab and tick 'Script' from the choices. The script toolbar can be dragged into position on the top menu bar.

To run a script, select the script from the dropdown menu...
Then click the Run button (blue triangle).

To Edit a script, click the button which looks like a scroll.

Note - When you first add the script toolbar, it is set for 'Interactive Mode'.
When a script is run in this mode, you will see every step of the recorded script. Although this is useful to see what steps have been used in a script, it does slow down the operation of the script considerably. Just click on the toggle button (two to the right of the run button), to 'un-highlight' the button and return the script run mode to 'Silent Mode'.

Image Requirements

Most scripts assume original image has a resolution of 16 million colours,
and will increase the resolution if it is lower.

Scripts work best on larger images (Width or Height at least 2000 pixels).
Resizing smaller images first will give best results,
particularly on Sketch, Lithograph, and Pen & Ink type scripts.

Ensure any layers on an image are merged (flattened) before running scripts,
and there are no active selections.
